Leverage

Product Management is a ̉field where its practitioners rarely have direct influence over the stakeholders or users. PMs are not the Mini CEO of their products. You should not wish for such influence either. A free market of ideas and inputs allows for better products.

While influence is hard, Leverage is critical. What a PM can usually leverage is data, user feedback, user friction and other metrics like cost.
